I'll Be
Edwin McCain owns you and you know it.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Today is Jesus' Birthday! It's sooooo hard to forget what Christmas really means. I get pissed because I don't get what I want or whatever. That's not what it's about. Read the beginning of John. It's amazing. It pretty much explains Jesus. Don't ask me, just read it for yourself.
he owns you!

The One I'm Waiting For
Wild at Heart is a gooooood book. I need to read more of it. Funny; a lot of the stuff in there about men in general is true. How we don't want to admit that we fear because it would make us less of a man. At some point or another, we're all like that. I love how it talks about being adventurous (sp?). I need adventure in my life. Some of the analogies that are made in that book are straight crazy. Like you knoooooooow those fools are crazy. ha.
I finished Luke the day before yesterday. This is like the second book I've read all the way through (I read Ephesians one night). I'm wondering whether or not to continue with John or read another book.
I talked to my parents about everything that's been going on in my life the past six months. How God has been moving whether or not I knew it. He's given my BYX, YoungLife, good grades, and life in general. I am stuggling with some things but I've been getting accountable for them. Not as much as I want, but more. I hope that I get an appointed officer position. I really would like to be Cell Group Coordinator. I feel something needs to be done to make cell groups better. To have it to where everyone is given that awesome, amazing cell group experience that I DIDN'T have. I know that cell groups can totally like blow up and become like what you look foward to in BYX. Like don't tell me that something is going to be all good and grand and it isn't. False Advertising! I feel like I have some good ideas to where everyone can truly grow in their cell group.
oh well, i gotta go.
have a splendid holiday.

ugh
why am i on my fourth journal/blog/ramblings? i seriously have no life.
you can also find me on xanga, as well as myspace, as well on facebook, as well on live journal.
i'll leave you with this...
Live. And Live Well.
BREATHE. Breathe in and Breathe deeply. Be PRESENT. Do not be past. Do not be future. Be now.
On a crystal clear, breezy 70 degree day, roll down the windows and FEEL the wind against your skin. Feel the warmth of the sun.
If you run, then allow those first few breaths on a cool Autumn day to FREEZE your lungs and do not just be alarmed, be ALIVE.
Get knee-deep in a novel and LOSE track of time.
If you bike, pedal HARD...and if you crash then crash well.
Feel the SATISFACTION of a job well done--a paper well-written, a project thoroughly completed, a play well-performed.
If you must wipe the snot from your 3-year old's nose, don't be disgusted if the Kleenex didn't catch it all...because soon he'll be wiping his own.
If you've recently experienced loss, then GRIEVE. And Grieve well.
At the table with friends and family, LAUGH. If you're eating and laughing at the same time, then might as well laugh until you puke. And if you eat, then SMELL. The aromas are not impediments to your day. Steak on the grill, coffee beans freshly ground, cookies in the oven. And TASTE. Taste every ounce of flavor. Taste every ounce of friendship. Taste every ounce of Life. Because-it-is-most-definitely-a-Gift.
